Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. They explain the rules governing access to and use of Telepromptter.com and its teleprompter-related services.

Last Updated:

Introduction and Agreement to Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Telepromptter.com. They apply whenever you use the Website or any service made available through it.

By actively using the Service, you indicate that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the Service. Merely viewing a public webpage does not waive any rights you may have under applicable law.

Definitions

“Website”
Telepromptter.com and the pages made available through it.
“Service”
The teleprompter-related functionality and associated website features made available through the Website.
“User” or “you”
Any person who accesses or uses the Website or Service.
“Telepromptter,” “we,” “us,” or “our”
The operator of the Website and Service.
“User Content”
Scripts, text, or other material that a User enters, submits, or uses in connection with the Service.

Eligibility and User Responsibilities

You may use the Service only if you are legally able to agree to these Terms. If applicable law requires a parent or legal guardian’s permission, you must obtain that permission before using the Service.

You are responsible for:

  • using the Service lawfully and in accordance with these Terms;
  • ensuring that your User Content is lawful and appropriate;
  • having the rights and permissions needed to use your User Content;
  • protecting any devices or credentials used to access the Service; and
  • complying with laws and third-party rights relevant to your use.

Description of the Service

Telepromptter provides browser-based teleprompter-related functionality that helps Users follow prepared text while presenting or recording. The features currently available are described on the Features page.

Feature descriptions are informational. The precise appearance, behavior, and availability of features may vary by device, browser, plan, location, or technical conditions.

Acceptable Use

You must not use or attempt to use the Website or Service to:

  • break any applicable law or infringe another person’s rights;
  • introduce malware, harmful code, or intentionally corrupted data;
  • gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, data, or networks;
  • probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without written authorization;
  • disrupt, overload, damage, or interfere with the Service;
  • circumvent access controls or technical restrictions;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation;
  • collect information about others through automated or deceptive means without a lawful basis; or
  • use the Service in a way that exposes Telepromptter or others to avoidable legal or security risks.

Reasonable security research should be reported through the Contact page before public disclosure.

Scripts and User-Provided Content

You retain any ownership rights you already hold in your User Content. These Terms do not transfer ownership of your scripts or other original material to Telepromptter.

You are responsible for your User Content and must ensure that you have all rights, licences, consents, and permissions required to use it. Your content must not unlawfully infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights.

These Terms do not make a claim about whether particular User Content is stored, transmitted, or retained. Information about personal-data practices should be read in the Privacy Policy.

Free and Paid Plans

Telepromptter may offer free, paid, or custom service options. The plans, prices, and included features currently offered are those shown on the Pricing page at the time you review or select a plan.

Plan names, availability, limits, and included features may change. If additional terms are presented before a paid order is completed, you should review them carefully because they form part of the agreement for that order.

Pricing, Billing, and Payments

Any price, billing interval, tax, payment method, renewal arrangement, and total charge must be disclosed through the applicable pricing or checkout process before payment is authorized.

You are responsible for reviewing the order details presented to you before completing a payment. Telepromptter does not rely on these Terms alone to create an undisclosed recurring-payment or automatic-renewal obligation.

Where a third-party payment service is used, its own terms and privacy practices may also apply.

Refunds, Cancellations, and Plan Changes

Any refund, cancellation, renewal, or plan-change conditions that apply to a purchase must be communicated through the relevant checkout flow, account controls, order confirmation, or other specific terms provided for that purchase.

Nothing in these Terms removes refund, cancellation, withdrawal, or consumer rights that apply under mandatory law. For assistance with a payment or plan, contact support@telepromptter.com.

Intellectual Property

The Website and Service may contain software, interfaces, text, graphics, branding, and other material owned by or licensed to Telepromptter. These materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Subject to these Terms, you may use the Website and Service for their intended purposes. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, distribute, or commercially exploit protected Website materials except where permitted by law or with the relevant rights holder’s written permission.

This section does not apply to User Content or material that is lawfully available under separate licence terms.

Third-Party Services and Links

The Website may link to or rely on third-party websites, platforms, infrastructure, or service providers. Third parties control their own services and may apply separate terms and privacy policies.

A link or technical connection does not necessarily mean that Telepromptter endorses the third party. You should review the relevant third-party terms before using an external service.

Availability, Maintenance, and Changes

We may maintain, improve, update, replace, restrict, or discontinue parts of the Website or Service. Maintenance, security events, technical faults, network conditions, and circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect availability.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Where reasonably practical, we may provide notice of material changes that significantly affect Users.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Website and Service are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise that the Service will meet every User’s requirements, operate without interruption, or be free from every defect.

You remain responsible for reviewing your scripts, preparing your presentation, maintaining appropriate backups, and deciding whether the Service is suitable for a particular use.

No disclaimer in these Terms excludes a warranty or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Telepromptter will not be responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, were caused by circumstances outside reasonable control, or resulted from misuse of the Service or failure to take reasonable precautions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful. This includes any liability that applicable law expressly prevents a service provider from excluding.

The scope of any lawful limitation depends on the circumstances and the law that applies to the User.

Suspension and Termination

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address unlawful conduct, a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, fraud, security threats, harm to the Service, or legal obligations.

When appropriate and legally permitted, we will consider the seriousness of the issue and whether notice or an opportunity to remedy it is reasonable. Restrictions may remain in place while an issue is investigated.

Provisions that by their nature should continue after access ends will remain effective, including provisions concerning intellectual property and accrued legal rights.

Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled in connection with the Website and Service. It should be read alongside these Terms.

These Terms address use of the Service and do not replace the Privacy Policy or any privacy notice presented when information is collected.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, business practices, security requirements, or applicable legal obligations. The revised version will be published on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.

Where required by law or reasonably appropriate for a material change, additional notice may be provided. Changes do not retroactively remove rights that have already accrued.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

The law and courts that apply to a dispute depend on the circumstances, including the location and legal status of the parties and any mandatory consumer protections. These Terms do not designate a jurisdiction that has not been expressly confirmed by the Website operator.

Before beginning formal proceedings, you are encouraged to contact us so that the issue can be understood and, where possible, resolved informally. This does not prevent either party from exercising legal rights or seeking urgent relief.
